Robert J. Weinberg is the CEO of Toy Island, an innovative leader in creating products for children worldwide.
Toy Island offers value, innovation and great play through effective and highly recognizable brands for children of
all ages. Key partners include EA SPORTS, Hello Kitty, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street and Disney.
Weinberg spent the majority of his career for industry giant Toys “R” Us. He began his career as a buyer and over
the years there, wore many different hats, until becoming responsible for all buying, merchandising, imports,
products development and store planning. In 1999 he helped pioneer the online business for Toys “R” Us.
After retiring from Toys “R” Us in 2000, Weinberg served on various boards and established his own consulting
business and import manufacturing company.
Weinberg joined KB in 2005 as the Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager, overseeing
all of their global buying and merchandising teams before leaving in 2007 to lead Toy Island.

Mark Cohen is the Senior Vice President of Sales for Toy Island, an innovative leader in creating products for
children worldwide. Toy Island offers value, innovation and great play through effective and highly recognizable
brands for children of all ages. Key partners include EA SPORTS, Hello Kitty, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street and Disney.
Cohen joined Toy Island in 2008. He has a long and distinguished career in the toy industry, having held a
number of senior positions over the last thirty five years. Cohen was a key member of the sales team for toy
giant Fisher Price for over twenty years, heading up the sales division for five years. Prior to Fisher Price,
Cohen was Senior Vice President of Sales for the Gold Seal Ice Cream Corporation. Before that, he was in the
sales divisions at Toper Toys and Transogram Toy Company. From 2005-2007, Cohen was President of Creative
Innovations and Sourcing, where he grew the business, adding CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond and QVC to its client base.
Under Cohen's stewardship Creative Innovations and Sourcing also created Baby Genius, a highly successful line
of toys for preschoolers.
